Volunteering with Professional Advantage

Ruth and Christian from our Sydney office take time out every year to pack shoeboxes with toys, school items, and fun gifts with Operation Christmas Child. This year, they utilised their Volunteer Time Out (VTO) to do a little more. 

"We had the chance to join the processing centre to go through and sort the shoeboxes, making sure they will get through border security with no issues and make it safely to the children they are intended for. We then group and pack them into larger boxes ready for distribution."

"Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse. It is a hands-on way to bless children in need across the world by filling shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and fun gifts. We collect the boxes and distribute them in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in vulnerable situations."
