Fantastic VTO day to break up the last week before Christmas!

I was invited by a great friend of mine, Marge, who works at the Mater Foundation, to help out with their December campaign to raise funds for the Mater Little Miracles Christmas Appeal. Marge said she knew this was something I'd enjoy; a day of Christmas wrapping and bless her, she was so right!

What a great way to be swept up in the Christmas Cheer and raise money for such a special cause. No papercuts, but oh my goodness, I do have sore feet from standing all day and sore cheeks from laughing and chatting. Extra special my partner in crime Kim Krarup joined in the fun for the first part of the day - both of us wearing our PA hats with pride.

The Mater Foundation does so many amazing things that I signed up to the RACQ International Women's Day Fun Run on Sunday 6th March 2022. This fun run aims to help Mater Chicks in Pink fund practical breast cancer support services like mastectomy bras and wigs, as well as life-saving research at Mater. This year I have a personal goal to run 5K and raise funds for my team.
